Auditions

We are holding read-throughs, workshops and auditions for our May production, "Widows" by Ariel Dorfman with Tony Kushner.

There will be a read-through at 7.30pm on Wednesday 8th February, a workshop for women at 2pm on Sunday 12th February and an audition at 7.30pm on Wednesday 15th February - all at The Place Theatre, Bradgate Road, Bedford MK40 3DE.

This powerful and moving play is set in a war-torn village from which the men have all been taken away. The women - their mothers, wives, sisters, daughters - do not know whether they are alive or dead. Then bodies start to appear in the river and the women, led by Sofia Fuentes, begin to defy the military.
